CIES Football Observatory have ranked three Super Eagles youngsters has the top 3 Nigerian players in Europe over the last six months.
The Switzerland based research group rated players in the top five leagues across Europe on a match-by-match basis taking into account their individual performance and contribution to their respective team.
Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi, Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze and Arsenal Alex Iwobi were the top 3 Nigerian players in that order.
Out of the 861 players ranked, Wilfred Ndidi finished in 238th position with a rating of 76.6 , Chukwueze was ranked 317th and was scored 75.0 while Alex Iwobi was ranked 384th player and was awarded 73.6
Ndidi, Chukwueze and Iwobi were key players for Nigeria in the recently concluded AFCON in Egypt.
