■ A coronavirus is a kind of common virus that causes an infection in your nose, sinuses , or upper throat. Most coronaviruses are not dangerous, while others are deadly.
■ A coronavirus causes upper respiratory infection symptoms such as stuffy nose, cough, and sore throat. It can be treated with rest and over-the-counter medication. The coronavirus can also lead to middle ear infections in children.
■ Most coronaviruses spread the same way other cold-causing viruses do: through infected people coughing and sneezing, by touching an infected person’s hands or face, or by touching things or surfaces such as doorknobs, hand rails or even chairs! that infected people may have touched.
■ There is no vaccine for coronavirus. To help prevent a coronavirus infection, do the same things you do to avoid the common cold which are :
i) wash your hands thoroughly and regularly with soap and warm water or with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. ii) Keep your hands and fingers away from your eyes , nose, and mouth . iii) Avoid close contact with people who are infected.
■ Ways of treatment: i) Get plenty of rest.
ii) Drink fluids.
iii) Take over-the-counter medicine for a sore throat and fever.
■ Coronaviruses can defer with climate or environment. While it is treated as a cold like disease in U.S., it is quite deadly in China.
■ If symptoms persist, make sure to seek advanced medical care.
