Huawei mate 20 pro Specs – Rumours and more rumours have come to end, the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro is finally out, check out the features, specifications and price of China’s newest innovation.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro was recently released to join the competitive air of 2018’s latest flagship of awesome devices. We can arguably say that this new device can mightly compete with the iPhone XS Max, the LG V40, Samsungs Galaxy Note 9 and all other highly integrated 2018 smartphones.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a high 6.4 inch OLED display quite the same size as the iPhone XS Max and Galaxy Note 9. It also has the 3D face unlock for the best secure authentication like is seen in the iPhone X flagship.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro – Design and Software

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a notch at the top of the screen, giving it an iPhone like the design. This Notch also serves the same function as in the iPhone. This is the Mate 20 Pro’s version of the Face ID technology. As said earlier it is a 6.4 inch OLED smart device. It also has a pixel ratio of 19.5:9 aspect ratio but this not quite as large as is expected of a 6.4-inch device.

In addition, the body of the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro consisting of some sort of ridge finish to give a solid grip over the phone. According to the Huawei company, it is called the Hyper Optical Pattern. The idea is to make the phone less prone to dirt and easy to grip.

It also has an IP68 rating for dusting and water resistance for an extra notch of protection.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro runs on the Android 9 Pie with the 7nm Kirin 980 processor which according to Huawei gives a higher performance and efficiency than the former Snapdragon 845, with faster connectivity achieved through the Cat.2.1 modem that increases its speed to about 1.4Gbps. In addition, there is a high level of AI processing imbedded into the Mate 20 Pro.

Its lovely design will give exactly the kind of power the Apple A12 Bionic chip in the latest iPhone gives. The Kirin 980 contains 6.9 billion transistors and a dedicated neural processing system to assist all of its AI tasks. This, therefore, means that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is packed with power and efficiency than you can see anywhere else.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Camera

The Huawei Mate 20 pro is made with a combination of colour sensors to give a well-defined edge. The Mate 20 Pro contains four cameras, three at the rear and one at the front.

The rear camera consists of a 20-Megapixel camera for super wide shots, 40-Megapixel shooter for conventional wide angles and lastly, an 8-Megapixel telephoto camera. The rear end also has an adaptive dual-tone flash for extra lighting at night. This gives off an impressive long exposure Night Mode as well as a new feature called Macro mode for better close up shots.

The front camera is a 24-megapixel 3D depth-sensing camera and is hidden in the notch for facial unlocking.

In addition, the Huawei Mate 20 uses Atitifical Intelligence enabled image processing. it has the ability to segment a photo into four segments and treat the image accordingly. However, Huawei is not offering an option of backing up an unprocessed image alongside the AI processed ones, so you have to take extra caution with processing and that you have hit the save button, else you lose or ruin the picture.

In terms of the video, Huawei has implemented some classic movie colour modes which means you can change the entire colour mode and enjoy cinematic effects in all the colours you want. However, this feature may not always work and when applied to pictures cannot be undone afterwards. You can also process videos in real time and add live bokeh effects.
