The INEC Result Viewing portal, also known as IReV, is a web-based application that enables interested individuals to monitor the vote counting process and track the results as they are announced from various polling units across the country. Through this innovative platform, INEC is striving to promote transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in the electoral process, while also providing citizens with real-time updates on the outcome of the elections.

How to Register on INEC Result Viewing portal (IReV)

To register on the INEC Result Viewing portal (IReV), the following steps need to be taken:

Step 1: Visit the official INEC IReV portal at https://www.inecelectionresults.ng/.

Step 2: Click on the “Create account” link.

Step 3: Fill out the required details, including your name, email address, phone number, and password.

Step 4: Click on the sign-in button.

Step 5: Choose your state of origin and click on the “continue” button. An account activation email will be sent to your email address.

Step 6: Log in to your email address to retrieve the activation code, input it in the provided space, and click on the “activate” button. This will activate your account and enable you to access the INEC Result Viewing portal (IReV).

Step 1: Go to the official INEC result portal login page at https://www.inecelectionresults.ng/login.

Step 2: Input your registered email address and password in the designated fields.

How to view election results live

To view the live election results on the INEC election viewing portal, you will need to first create an account by visiting http://inelectionresults.ng and completing a few simple steps. Upon completion, a code will be sent to your email address, which you will be required to copy and paste in a box provided to activate your account.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will have access to results from previous elections such as Ekiti, Osun, and the FCT Area council election. Simply click on the election of your interest, select the state, local government area, ward, and polling unit to view the uploaded polling unit results. It is important to create your account in advance to avoid any difficulty creating an account on election day, although INEC has assured users that the platform can handle up to 100 million hits on that day.
