iPhone 12 Specs and Price in Nigeria- The iPhone 12 is the latest iteration of the iPhone. For months, fans were looking forward to what Apple had in the pipeline. Fast forward to mid October 2020, and we got all of that in four different iPhones. In this we take a close look at the specs and price of the iPhone 12.
Apple is keeping with its premium design philosophy for the iPhone 11. We are getting a aerospace-grade aluminium edges and a shape reminiscent of the iPhone 5. The iPhone 12 is splash, water and dust resistant and the new Ceramic Shield offers four times better drop performance compared with the iPhone 11.
The 60Hz display on the regular model has been upgraded to the Pro’s Super Retina XDR. The OLED panel has a resolution of 2532×1170 and a pixel density of 460 ppi.The phone comes in black, white, red, green and blue colour.
We cannot talk about iPhones and leave the cameras they bring with them off. That is why we are just as excited to talk about these cameras as you must be to use them.
The iPhone 12 features a dual-sensor camera for better photo-taking capabilities. There’s a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 12-megapixel wide lens with an aperture of f/1.6. Both cameras include 2x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.
Night mode has seen improvements and you’ll now find Smart HDR with Scene Detection and Deep Fusion on the standard iPhone model.
The iPhone 12 can record HDR video with Dolby Vision up to 30fps, 4K at 24/30/60fps and 1080p at 30/60fps. There is also cinematic video stabilisation.
It is no news that Apple makes its chipsets. The A14 chip powering the iPhone 12 is both the first Apple chip to use the 5nm process, and “the fastest CPU and GPU by up to 50 percent” compared with its competitors.The iPhone 12 has also been given a long-awaited upgrade to 5G and supports mmWave 5G in the US.
The iPhone 12 includes 4GB RAM and the battery can handle up to 17 hours of video playback and 65 hours of audio playback. The phone is compatible with 20W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

For those opting for the 64GB model, the iPhone 12 starts at $799 ( N303,635).For the 128GB version, the price goes up to $849 (N322,636).Lastly, the 256GB iPhone 12 is priced at $949 (N360,638)
The iPhone 12 will be available for pre-order October 16 and the release date is Oct. 23.
