Gioone Steel 5 Complete Specifications and Price

Gionee may have lost its popularity, but it certainly doesn’t seems to be giving up as it launches a new device- Gioone Steel 5.

The Gioone Steel 5, an entry-level device. The last smartphone Gioone launched in this series was the Steel 3 back in 2017.

Design and Display

At first glance, the Gioone Steel 5 looks pretty much like a very expensive phone. The device is designed with a well polished metallic body and slim chassis. The device does not have support for a finger print scanner.

In terms of display, the device has a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. It also has a waterdrop notch overhead, housing the front facing camera sensor.

Battery

Not so many entry level smartphone comes with a large battery capacity like the Gioone Steel 5. It features a 5000mAh Li-Po battery which is no removable and a fast charge feature.

Camera

On the camera department, the Gionne Steel 5 comes with a 13MP front camera in a teardrop notch. Moving on to the rear camera is a beautiful square bumb housing the 12MP Camera and , 2MP loaded with AI features and a double LED flash.

Connectivity

Gioone Steel 5 features 4G LTE connectivity and supports the major telecommunications networks in Nigeria, including Airtel, Glo, 9mobile and MTN.

Hardware and software

The device runs Android 9 Pie under the company’s own Amigo Os. Gioone Steel 5 is available on two storage options of either: 4GB Ram and 64GB internal storage or 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The chipset inside the phone is yet to made public but it has an octa-core prosecessor.

Price and Availability

Gioone Steel 5 is expected to be available in Nigeria as from May 13 2020. The 4GB Ram is expected to be sold around 40,000 -45,000 while the 6GB ram is expected to be sold around 50,000 -55,000
