Every investment carries some degree of risk, and investments yielding higher returns typically involve more risk. Be highly suspicious of any “guaranteed” investment opportunity.

Avoid investments if you don’t understand them or can’t get complete information about them.

Many con artists will pressure you with “limited time offers” in order to force you to make a quick decision. They don’t give you the time to consider whether or not their offer truly makes any sense at all.

Sometimes people claim that they have access to a unique opportunity, something that is not offered to regular people. The scammer might be very religious which is another thing you should watch out for. Or they may claim to have mastered a technique involving cryptocurrency or forex .
