The Headies awards is one of the most prestigious and anticipated award events in Nigeria. It is held yearly to honor outstanding achievements in music and entertainment over the last year.
This year edition is titled ‘Join the Movement,’ and will take place today at the Cobbs Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.
Since its inception in 2006, this is the first time the award ceremony will been held outside of Nigeria. The 15th edition also includes new categories, and exciting car gift for the next rated award winner.
How to Watch Headies if You’re Not in Nigeria
If you live in Nigeria, the award ceremony will be broadcast live on HipTV, Channel 324 on DStv, and Channel 74 on GOtv. Red carpet is by 7pm while the main shows begins at 10pm (Nigerian time).
For US audiences, the Red carpet is by 2pm while the main show is by 5pm.
If you live outside Nigeria, you can catch every action from the Headies via live streaming. You can watch the event live via HipTV’s YouTube and Facebook accounts.
