Anthony Joshua will defend his world titles against Kubrat Pulev on June 20 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Bulgarian Pulev, 38, is the compulsory IBF challenger to challenge on Joshua, who holds the WBA, IBF and WBO titles.
Joshua regained the WBA, IBF and WBO championships after beating Andy Ruiz Jr via unanimous decision in Saudi Arabia last December.
“I am happy to have the opportunity to show the world how strong I really am,” said Pulev on his Facebook page.
It will be Joshua’s first fight in the UK since beating Alexander Povetkin at Wembley in September 2018.
Joshua was set to fight Pulev in 2017 but the Bulgarian boxer pulled out due to an injury.
Who is Kubrat Pulev?
Kubrat Pulev is currently (28-1). His suffered is only lost was via a knockout in 2014 by the hands of Klitschko.
Kubrat Pulev is no ordinary boxer, he is smart and swift.
Pulev is currently on an 8, match winning streak. Unlike popular opinion, the fight won’t be a ‘stroll in the ring’ for Joshua.
