The Soundcity MVP Awards, commonly called TheMVPs’ or MVP is an event brought to you by Soundcity TV to celebrate musicians who have given us their bests during the year. This year in the spirit of “Africa is Now”, individuals and personalities from the fashion world, creative arts, entrepreneurship, sports, digital influence, and socio-development will all be celebrated.
Award categories include:
- Best Male MVP
- Best Female MVP
- Best Hip-hop
- Best Pop
- Best Collaboration
- Viewer’s choice
- Listener’s Choice
- Digital Artiste of the Year
- Video of the Year
- Best Group
- Song of the year
- Best New Artiste
- African Producer of the Year
- African Artiste of the year
In addition, a new category, “African DJ of the Year” will be inaugural by the likes of DJ Spinall, DJ Neptune, Prince Kaybee, DJ MicSmith, DJ Arafat, Black Coffee, DJ Xclusive, DJ Kaywise, DJ Vyrusky, and DJ Maphorisa. There is just so much, you won’t want to miss.
This event would hold on the 5th of January, 2019 at the EKO Hotel Convention Center Victoria, Island. red carpets begin at 6.00pm. It is one of the biggest events and would feature the hottest African artists from around the continent. - You have only one vote for each category, so choose wisely.
The Soundcity MVP event is an exciting affair and we indeed look forward to it.
