Nigerian Idol Season 6 – After a five-year hiatus, Nigerian Idol will return with Season 6 to unearth some of the best musical talents the country has to offer. The Idol franchise has over the years produced some of the biggest Nigerian singer such as Timi Dakolo, Mercy Chinwo, and Omawumi who have gone ahead to make a name for themselves in the global music scene.
Since it made its debut in Nigeria, the Nigerian Idol has been a platform for talent discovery and expression.
Online auditions for the new season start on November 29, 2020 and for a limited time. To participate, entrants must be between the age of 16-30, Record a 30-second video singing any song and upload the video HERE
The reality TV series is aimed at searching for young talented Nigerian singers. At the commencement of the audition, 30 eligible Nigerians, aged between 16 and 30, are selected for the show.
Only 12 contestants will make it to final stage through voting.
Nigerian Idol Season 6 Prizes
The winner goes home with prizes including N7.5 million, recording contract with Sony, SUV jeep and a trip to South Africa.

- Should your audition be successful you will be invited to audition in person in front of the Nigerian Idol judges.
