If you were born in the 80’s or early 90’s, then you would definitely remember some of these sweet memories from back in the days…
Growing up in Nigeria those days was so much fun and before the introduction of some of these modern equipment or technology, we survived with the ones we had back then! When it came to having fun, we had so many activities and games to play with each other, unlike these days where everyone is on their phones, surfing the internet or watching YouTube videos (like me) ..
So, because it’s a beautiful Thursday, let’s do a Major Throwback and relieve some of those beautiful memories .
(These Indomie generation will not understand the struggle of watching a movie or listening to music
(Please, don’t tell me about how sweet ‘short bread’ is if you didn’t taste any of these!
(This right here was the real deal… Rechargable lamp/radio/cassette player…and maybe a handy weapon
(I had so much bruises playing this game…but it was all worth it
(These were the ‘Gucci’ of our time!
(Don’t talk to me about iPhones if you didn’t use any of these!
(I went to hospital so many times because of this particular play)
(This was our ‘timberland’ back then)
(If you know, you know!)
(“Understanding Mathematics” they said… I finished the whole book and till now, I still don’t understand shit!
(Now, this was the one I enjoyed )
(…and these ones as well)
(This was our ‘bullet’ back then!)
(I was the chairlady of this particular play
(This was our ‘cold stone’ ice cream back then
(Only ladies would understand the pain that comes with this!
(This right here “can heal any broken bones”… said all Nigerian mothers!
(I pierced my tongue so many times because of this sweet…but I kept buying them anyway
(If you didn’t play this game, don’t talk to me about Fortnite or Minecraft
I hope NaijMobile made your day with these sweet memories…Happy Throwback Thursday )
(Please, don’t smile alone… Make someone else’s day by sharing!
