INEC Declares Anambra Gov Election Inconclusive, See Why

Professor Florence Obi, the Returning Officer for the Anambra State governorship election, has announced that a supplementary election will be held on November 9 in 362 polling units in the Ihiala Local Government Area.

Prof. Obi pointed out that for an election to be conclusive, it had to take place in those polling units, citing the constitution.

She explained that elections were not held in Ihiala due to reports of insecurity in the area.

Meanwhile, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, is leading with 103, 946 votes.
