Infinix, a subsidiary of Transsion Holding, has finally introduced the much-anticipated Zero X series smartphones. The Zero X, Zero X Pro, and Zero X Neo are the models in the series. The three smartphones are notable in the photography area because they are the first Infinix models to include periscope lenses.
The three smartphones each have a 5x optical zoom and a 60x digital zoom, allowing them to capture a Moon image. Infinix also includes the Galileo Engine, a new camera algorithm. While photographing the Moon, the engine controls the camera. It then processes the data and returns the best possible result.
The Infinix Zero X has the same screen size as the Zero X Pro in terms of configuration. The duo features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and touch sampling rate capabilities of 240Hz. The Zero X Neo, for its part, has a bigger 6.78-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
The MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, constructed on a 12nm technology and containing two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05GHz, powers all three smartphones. A Mali-G76 MC4 GPU is also included with the chipset. The processor normally offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, however it is paired with MediaTek’s Intelligent Display chipset, which supports a higher refresh rate. On all three variants with UFS 2.2 storage, the CPU is paired with 8GB of RAM.
The three smartphones feature various camera configurations. With a 108MP sensor and OIS, the Zero X Pro lives up to its moniker. The standard Zero X has a 64MP sensor with OIS, but the Zero X Neo has a 48MP main sensor but no OIS. The three phones are equipped with an 8MP periscope lens and an 8MP ultrawide sensor that also functions as a macro shooter. On all three devices, the selfie camera is the same 16MP snapper with a dual-LED flash.
On the X Neo, a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities keeps the lights on. The Zero X and X Pro, on the other hand, have a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging capabilities. The charger is touted to be capable of charging from 0% to 40% in 15 minutes.
The trio uses the latest Android 11-based custom UI XOS 7.6 for its user interface. The Pro model is available in 128GB and 256GB capacities, whilst the X and X Neo are only available in 128GB capacities. The Zero X Pro will be available in Nebula Black, Starry Silver, and Tuscany Brow, while the Zero X will only be available in Black and Silver. The Zero X Neo will be available in three different colors: black, silver, and Bahamas blue.
In terms of prices the Zero X will cost you N151,000 while the Zero X pro sells at N187,000. As for the Zero X Neo you can get it for as low as N98,000
