As we await Google’s latest Pixel releases this week, the Apple 11 has got our attention. Naturally, Apple’s iPhone 11 releases will be launched in September as has been the tradition since 2016. But, this years’ buzz is a lot different from the old thing.
As we do know, Apple is yet to join Samsung and Huawei on the Foldable phone fiesta. In addition, we shouldn’t get our hopes up about getting an Apple device with 5G connectivity this year. The company still has a lot of bureaucratic rope to move along. Nevertheless, the Apple iPhone 11 is almost entirely different from its predecessors. There are some rumors about the 3D camera, AR integrations and laser guide to be integrated into the Face ID. But, we have absolutely nothing to back that rumor. So let’s move along on what we do know right now.
Apple’s iPhone 11 Lucky trio plus two extras
Yes, Apple is not out to release a single device but three devices just like it did in 2018 with the release of iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. There’s an additional rumor that Apple plans to unveil two brand new models equipped with OLED displays and advanced rear camera systems. These rumors were released by Mac Otakara ( via MacRumors). So far, his rumors have always held weight, so we don’t expect anything less.
5G is not coming till 2020
Sadly, we won’t be getting any 5G connectivity from Apple. According to Bloomberg and Nikkei, Apple previously had plans to come with a 5G modem powered by Qualcomm. But recent reports after Apple’s agreement with Qualcomm, Intel said it would exit the 5G phone modem business and would rather sell the modem business entirely to Apple or another company.
Apple iPhone 11 Cameras
The main focus of the rumors we have been hearing originates from the camera setup. For the first time in history, Apple may be designing according to Huawei’s triple setup with a little extra. The 2019 iPhones will come with Apple’s new 3D technology which is meant to enhance AR applications. There may also be an IOS update which will double the length of Live Photos to 6 seconds.
According to leaks by OnLeaks and Ice Universe, the new 2019 iPhones may have three cameras in a triangle fashion, alongside a large square module and flash.
However, another rumor claims that this three rear-facing camera will include a 10 and 14-megapixel sensors with two of the lenses and flash position encircling one central lens just like we can see on the Huawei Mate 20.
Apple 2019 iPhones: Brand New Mute Buttons
The Apple iPhone 11 may look like the iPhone XS complete with a virtual identical steel and glass design. But apart from the redesigned rear end, Apple may be adding a little mute button on the side.
Samsung”s Powershare may be picked by Apple’s iPhone 11.
Apple may follow up on Samsung’s brand new invention. The Apple iPhone 11 is rumored to be able to charge the Airpods and other iPhones.
Well, this is no surprise. Since Apple is killing its AirPower wireless charging mat. So it would be a pleasant addition, so we can charge our Airpods and iPhones seamlessly. But with this feature, we also expect bigger batteries with the new iPhones. So judging by this fact, we don’t expect slim, sleek designs this year.
We may be seeing iOS 13 as well
We certainly haven’t got used to having the iOS 12, but Apple may have something more for us. According to rumors courtesy of PhoneArena, iOS 13 may come with the popular dark mode. On the flip side, Apple is testing our USB-C’s. This is not much of a rumor but actually a confirmed fact. Apple already has USB-Cs in the newest MacBook Air, MacBook Pros, and iPad Pros.

The LCD and OLED mix of 2018 may remain
Apple will keep the OLED and LCD display we say in the 2018 Apple iPhones. According to other rumors, Apple may also retain the size of the current iPhones.
Apple’s Face ID gets a makeover
As suggested earlier, the Face ID will come with a flood illuminator. This is a feature that allows us to mitigate environmental light and improve Face ID performance. Therefore, the smartphone will include a bright light that would help accurately and swiftly identify it’s owners.
Apple is fast moving towards costing a good piece of land
Yes, I said it. We certainly don’t know why the huge price tags. The current iPhones already cost a plot of land in rural areas. But the new devices will cost a lot more. Naturally, we do know that it follows in the trend of Samsung’s $2,000 foldable phone.
But, judging by the fact iPhone sales are slowing, we keep wondering why Apple continues to keep their prices going up and up.
Lastly, Apple’s getting an A13 processor
A12 Bionic processor was a success. But A13’s processor is really an exceptional addition. Already the A12 Bionic processor is arguably ahead of the Andriod 9.0 Pie. But, the A13 will take iPhone several steps ahead of the industry.
