Latest Football Transfer Updates – Good day folks. In today’s installment of the latest transfer updates, we’ve got a couple of stories about Nigerian players and over 15 done deals.

1. Sheyi Ojo (Liverpool)

Nigerian-descent Sheyi Ojo has reportedly been listed as one of the players set to leave Liverpool this summer.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder won’t be short of offers as he excelled during his loan spell at Scottish Rangers.

Some of the other players are Been Woodburn, Harry Wilson, Loris Karius, Marko Grujic, and Xherdan Shaqiri.

2. David Silva (Lazio)

Manchester City midfielder David Silva has agreed personal terms with Italian side Lazio.

The Citizens legend is set to join as a free agent at the end of the season.

3. Denilson (Sliema Wanderers)

Former Arsenal midfielder Denilson has signed for the most successful team in Malta, Sliema Wanderers, on a one-year deal.

The 32-year-old Brazilian spent seven years with the Gunners and scored 10 goals in over 100 games in all competitions.

4. Robin Van Persie (Feyenoord)

Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has returned to boyhood club Feyenoord.

The 37-year-old has agreed to be part of Dick Advocaat’s coaching team next season.

5. Eric Garcia (Barcelona)

Manchester City have reportedly put a price-tag of about £30m on defender Eric Garcia after he turned down a contract extension.

Barcelona are the favourite to sign the 19-year-old La Masia product, who left the Camp Nou in 2017.

6. Emmanuel Apeh (Tenerife)

Spanish club CD Tenerife have completed the signing of Nigeria striker Emmanuel Apeh from Celta Vigo after his contract expired.

The Kaduna-born player signed a three-year deal.

7. Houssem Aouar (Juventus)

Juventus are set to rival Arsenal and Manchester City for the signing of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.

None of the three clubs have made an official bid for the Frenchman.

8. Joao Felix Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli)

Manchester City have turned their attention to the signing of Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Citizens, who completed the signings of winger Ferran Torres and defender Nathan Ake this week are working on rejigging their squad ahead of next season.

9. Dan Fredkin (Roma)

American billionaire Dan Fredkin has bought Italian club Roma for €591 million.

Friedkin is worth over $4billion according to Forbes and is set to release close to £100m for the purchase of players this summer.

10. Max Kruse (Union Berlin)

Former Bremen and Fenerbahce striker Max Kruse has signed for German club Union Berlin.

The 32-year-old has four goals in 14 appearances for the German national team.

11. Idrissa Gueye (Wolves)

Former Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has been linked with a summer move to Europa League campaigners Wolves.

The Senegal international moved to PSG at the beginning of the campaign, but the French Champions are ready to do business. Man United have also been linked.

12. William Bianda (Roma)

France youngster William Bianda has joined Belgian club Zulte Waregem from Roma.

The 20-year-old defender joins on a season-long loan deal.

13. Javi Martinez and Fikayo Tomori (Rennes)

Rennes have identified Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori and Javi Martinez of Bayern Munich as transfer targets this summer.

The French club has started talks with the representatives of both players as they look to improve their squad ahead of next season’s Champions League.

14. Christian Fruchtl (Bayern Munich)

Highly-rated Germany goalkeeper Christian Fruchtl has joined Nurnberg from Bayern Munich on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old was a super regular for Bayern Munich II team but has struggled to break into the main team.

15. Gregory van der Wiel (RKC Waalwijk)

One year after taking a break from football, former PSG right-back Gregory van der Wiel has completed a move to Dutch club RKC Waalwijk.

The 32-year-old was part of the Netherland squad that lost the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup to Spain.

16. Pape Cheikh (Lyon)

Dijon have announced the season-long loan signing of Pape Cheikh from Lyon, with the option to buy at €5m.

The Senegal-born player was on loan at Celta Vigo last season.

17. Caglar Soyuncu (Barcelona)

Barcelona are interested in signing Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu this summer and are prepared to offer about €40 million for his signature.

The Turkey international was one of the best defenders in the Premier League as the Foxes missed out on Champions League football on the final day of the season.

18. Jack Harrison (Manchester City)

Manchester City winger Jack Harrison has confirmed that he will remain on loan at Leeds United for the third consecutive season.

The 23-year-old scored six goals and provided eight assists as Leeds United won promotion to the Premier League.

19. Daniel Arzani (Manchester City)

Manchester City attacking midfielder Daniel Arzani has joined Dutch club Utrecht on a season-long loan deal.

The Iran-born player represents the Austrian national team and was on loan at Celtic last season.

20. Gustavo Maia (Barcelona)

Barcelona have officially announced the signing of Brazilian youngster Gustavo Maia from Sao Paulo.

The 19-year-old, who signed a five-year contract worth €4.5m will represent Barcelona B next season and reportedly has a release clause of €300m.

21. Tiemoue Bakayoko (AC Milan)

Chelsea have reportedly put a €20m price tag on midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko amid interest from AC Milan, Bayern Munich and PSG.

The Frenchman, who spent last season on loan at Monaco is not part of Frank Lampard’s plans for next season.

22. Gokhan Gonul and Caner Erkin (Fenerbahce)

Fenerbahce have signed right-back Gokhan Gonul and left-back Caner Erkin from Besiktas.

Both players joined as free transfers.

23. Everton Cebolinha (Everton)

Premier League club Everton have matched Benfica’s bid for the signature of Brazil attacker Everton Cebolinha.

Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti has also made a phone call to the player to convince him of a move to the Premier League.

24. Sergio Reguilon (Chelsea)

Sevilla full-back Sergio Reguilon says no deal has been reached with any club amid reports that he has agreed personal terms with Chelsea.

The Real Madrid loanee scored a lovely goal as Sevilla secured a spot in the quarter-final of the Europa League.

25. Markus Suttner (Austrian Wien)

Austrian Wien have signed former Brighton winger Markus Suttner from Fortuna Dusseldorf.

The 33-year-old joins as a free transfer.

26. Federico Macheda (Red Star Belgrade)

Former Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has agreed to join Serbian side Red Star Belgrade from Panathinaikos.

27. Luca de la Torre (Heracles)

Fulham midfielder Luca de la Torre has joined Eredivisie club Heracles on a free transfer.

28. David Alaba and Jerome Boateng (Bayern Munich)

David Alaba’s agent Pini Zahavi has offered the left-back to PSG as contract talks with Bayern Munich have stalled. Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester City are the other clubs that have been linked.

Meanwhile, former Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng says he’s open to a return to the Premier League.

29. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Tottenham)

Southampton have accepted Tottenham’s £25m bid for midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

30. Juande (Malaga)

Malaga have renewed the contract of 21-year-old Spanish defender Juande.

He signed a three-year deal.

31. Diogo Dalot (Manchester United)

Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot is attracting interest from Everton.

The Red Devils are willing to accept £10m for the 21-year-old Portuguese, who has struggled to break into the first-team.

32. Joaquin Fernandez (Heerenveen)

Dutch club Heerenveen have signed defender Joaquin Fernandez from River Plate.

The 21-year-old Uruguayan signed a three-year deal.

33. Jonathan Williams (Crystal Palace)

Charlton have signed Crystal Palace striker Jonathan Williams.

French club Monaco have wrapped up a deal for Arsenal target Axel Disasi.

Celtic are interested in Nigerian-descent Lukas Nmecha and a loan deal has been proposed.

Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard and defender Eric Bailly have been linked with a summer move to AC Milan.

Lingard is ending the campaign on a high, having scored in his last two matches, while Bailly has struggled with injuries.

Former Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has been unveiled as a player of Al-Sadd, a club managed by Barcelona legend Xavi.

The chances of Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira returning to Italy have increased as his former manger Marco Giampaolo has been announced as manager of Torino.

41. Robinho (Basaksehir)

Turkish club Basaksehir have announced the departure of Brazil winger Robinho after a disappointing campaign.

The 36-year-old, who failed to provide an assist or score in 15 games last season is now a free agent.

42. Neymar, Mbappe and Ronaldo (PSG)

Finally, reports have emerged that PSG would prefer to extend the contracts of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar instead of signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both players have two years remaining on their contracts amid links to La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
