The weekend is here again and for every football fan, it’s time for Football. And not just any ordinary football- it is the English Premier League.

While Manchester City needed penalties to see off Liverpool in the Community Shield, their clinical touch was on display as they disassemble West Ham at the London Stadium last Saturday. Tottenham on the hand came from behind to see off a dodgy Aston Villa last week. Both teams are in super form and we are expecting fireworks at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Sergio Aguero could get a nod ahead of Gabriel Jesus. Also, Guardiola could lean towards Bernardo ahead of Mahrez, despite seeing the Algeria captain perform impressively throughout the demolition over West Ham. Ederson had two terrific save against the hammers and will undoubtedly retain the gloves while John Stones will continue alongside Aymeric Laporte in the heart of City’s defense.
Tottenham’s defense looked vulnerable at times against Aston Villa but things might be different tried and tested partnership with Vertonghen and Alderweireld could silence City’s star-studded attack. Spurs’ record signing Tanguy Ndombele scored on his debut and is likely to keep his place while Christian Eriksen may start the game. Harry Kane, who scored on the opening day of the season for the first time, is expected to partner Lucas Moura in the attack. Meanwhile, there could be a spot on the bench for deadline-day signing Giovani Lo Celso.
