The Hiphop World Magazine of Nigeria’s award show ‘Headies awards’ as announced the winner of the first edition of it’s talent show, Headies Mic Check.
The Headies Mic Check is a talent search project that attempts to turn an upcoming artist into an overnight sensation. Smooth Promotions, the organizers of The Headies Awards, are in charge of the initiative.

After a intense final round or intense rapping and hard punch lines, Emmanuel Emeh aka ZEZ emerged the winner of the maiden edition of the talent show.
Emmanuel Emeh walked home with the whopping prize of 5 million naira, a brand new car, and a one-year music license deal.
