The Nigeria U20 team have refused to vacate their hotel in Poland after their lackadaisical performance saw they crashed out of the U20 World Youth Championship in Poland.
The Flying Eagles locked horn with Senegal on an All African Round of 16, but loss 1-2 yesterday.
Players of the team firmly insist on payment of their bonuses else they won’t vacate the hotel and the dispute has already made them missed their flight back to Nigeria.
The Nigerian team were supposed to leave Poland this morning but the players refuse to vacate the hotel, hence missed their flight back homedespite pleas from coaching staff and other members of the squad.
The Media officer could not be reached to comment on the issue but a coaching staff confirmed that the dispute will be resolved peacefully in the coming hour.
