13th Headies Voting –naijmobile.com reported yesterday that the list of nominees for the 13th edition of the Headies Award has been released with popular music stars, Davido, Wizkid, Olamide, Simi and Burna, Teni featuring in major categories.
naijmobile.com can exclusively report now that voting has commenced for the 2019 edition of the event which is usually referred to as Nigeria’s version of the Grammy Awards.

This year’s event which will hold on the 19th October, 2019 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, has about 77 nominees in 25 categories.

However, some categories cannot be voted for as the winners will be selected by a panel of judges. Others will be a combination of both votes and the judges’ discretion, while some others will be strictly by voting.
Some of the popular categories that will be judge by voting are: Headies’ viewers award, Rookie of the year, Best Alternative song, Album of the year, Best street-hop artiste, Hip Hop World Revelation, Next Rated Artiste, Best Rap Single, Best Collabo, Best Music Video and the almighty award for the Song of the Year
