Aisha, Daughter of late Abba Kyari has poured her heart out in a touching tribute weeks after the cold hands of death took her father away.
Abba Kyari until his death was the Chief of Staff to president Buhari. He died on the thr Apr 17, a few weeks after he had tested positive for Covid19 following an official trip to Germany and the United Kingdom.
In a heart warming tribute published on ThisDay, titled ‘My daddy, my best friend’, Aisha described her late dad as a marvellous personality who have seen it all in life. Despite his wealth of experience and unparalled exposure in life, Abba Kyari never drove a car until his death.
She added that this is because he never even learnt how to drive one
This may sound odd but my beloved daddy couldn’t drive a car! He never learnt how to drive for a day in his entire life, she wrote.
She also went on to explain how her late father was “misunderstood” and “mischievously misrepresented” by some Nigerians, despite his contributions to humanity and desire to make Nigeria a great nation.
My dad was terribly misunderstood and arguably mischievously misrepresented. Even his age was never gotten right from the day he became Chief of staff till the day he died. My dad died at the age of 67. He was often mistaken for the late Brigadier Abba Kyari who was indeed in his 80’s, she added.
Naij Mobile recalls that Abba Kyari until his death was the Chief of Staff to president Buhari. Abba Kyari died on the 17th day of April, after battling with Covid19 for weeks. He contracted the virus after an official trip to Germany and the United Kingdom.
