A video making rounds on social media shows the moment The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi requested that God infects him with the deadly COVID-19, so the entire world could be free from the disease.

While sitting majestically on his throne, The Oluwo of Iwo said a prayer regarding coronavirus. The traditional ruler then asked that the coronavirus should come to him and leave the rest of the world alone.
“I’m not king, God is King. You created everything. I surrender my body to the diseases, let it abide in me and free the rest of the world” the controversial monarch had said
