Headies 2020 – The Headies Awards is perhaps, the last thing every lover of music anticipate when we edge closer to the end of the year. The Headies award is music’s biggest night in Nigeria.
The Headies, which is organized by Nigerian entertainment company, Hip-Hop World has been operative for over 10 years. Last year was the 13th edition and it was a memorable event.

The Rapper cum actor, is a man with several talent and he showcased it last year with the always perfect Nancy Isime.
Will the duo retain the position as the host this year? We don’t think so. The Headies organizers are not known to repeat host. The Headies have the reputation of giving opportunities for others to showcase their talent.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Nigerian artistes doubled their passion for music by releasing sterling albums. Expect to see Burna Boy’s “Twice as Tall”, Olamide’s ”999”, Adekunle Gold’s ”Afro Pop” and Fireboy’s Apollo. Don’t expect to see Davido’s “A Better Time” or Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos”. They both came late this year.
