In line with this commitment, the bank has put together the Eco Innovation Challenge.
What is the Eco Innovation Challenge?
The Eco Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for Nigerian tech entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas that can help advance sustainability in Nigeria. The challenge is open to all Nigerian tech entrepreneurs who have ideas that can help tackle the environmental challenges facing Nigeria.
How to Participate in the Challenge
To participate in the challenge, interested entrepreneurs are required to create a 2-minute video explaining their idea. The video should highlight the unique features of the idea, how it can advance sustainability in the areas of our environment, sustainable agriculture, and sustainable energy, and the potential impact it can have on the Nigerian society.
Sharing on Social Media
The videos can be shared on Instagram and Facebook using the relevant hashtags: #DBNEcoInnovationChallenge, #Sustainability, #Innovation. The videos shared will be taken into consideration in selecting the winners of the challenge.
The winners of the challenge will be announced on the 31st of May, 2023. The top three winners will receive cash prizes of ₦1,500,000 (1st Place), ₦1,000,000 (2nd Place), and ₦750,000 (3rd Place) respectively.
