The 2019 Nigerian Sports Award (NSA) Gala held at the Jasmine Hall of the Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos on Friday, 29th November 2019, and some outstanding Nigerian athletes got big accolades.
Energetic performances from Oritsefemi and Sir Shina Peters made the event worth remembering.
The Footballer of the Year award went to former Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo for his contribution to the team’s qualification and his display at 2019 AFCON held in Egypt. Odion Ighalo beats youngster Samuel Chukwueze and Super Falconets forward Asisat Oshoala to the award.
