The University of Lagos has provided a drug test kit in its medical centre to examine students suspected to be on hard drugs. This has become necessary to check the menace of drug abuse among students of the University. The Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Senate on Youth and Student Matters, Mr. Ikenga Ugochinyere, has resigned his appointment. No fewer than 24,000 applicants to the University of Lagos who scored 200 marks and above will still be unable to secure admission in the institution in the 2017/2018 academic session.
