The Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Senate on Youth and Student Matters, Mr. Ikenga Ugochinyere, has resigned his appointment. In a letter of resignation addressed to President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, and dated October 3, 2017, Ugochinyere, who is President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, said he had formed a political party and had been appointed as its national chairman. No fewer than 24,000 applicants to the University of Lagos who scored 200 marks and above will still be unable to secure admission in the institution in the 2017/2018 academic session. The quest for quick and easy money has landed a 24 year old salesman in court for stealing and staking N3.5 million in MMM, a ponzi scheme.
