Alex Iwobi has tested negative for COVID-19 ahead of today’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho, according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The Everton midfielder’s positive result became a subject of controversy, as he was forced to miss Saturday’s 1-0 win at Benin Republic.
